Those of us who have attended our reunions know something you don’t… they’re a lot of fun. We had a very special class – I’ve consistently and unapologetically flaunted our highs and our lows from the beginning – and retelling those stories and sharing those memories somehow has a way of melting away the years.
Assumption’s alumni organization has always provided a range of activities to keep us as busy and involved as we choose, and if you haven’t visited the campus in a while… let me just say you’re in for a treat. Of course, there are also times when a cold brew and a game of pitch fits the bill quite nicely.
Life becomes memorable partially through the extraordinary experiences we choose to have. Visiting with your classmates on the 50th anniversary of our graduation is pretty special – and let me ask you… at the age of 70+ how many more opportunities do you think life plans to offer you?
So if you’re on the fence, I would encourage you to take the leap.”
Sincerely,
Bill Kemps, President, Class of ’69

50th Reunion Class Gift Message:
There are several activities being planned for what should be a great weekend at Assumption for the Class of 1969. It is a milestone event – our 50th Class Reunion highlighted by our joining the “Golden Greyhounds”! You will be hearing from your reunion social committee and co-chairs over the coming months leading up to what we think will be a fun and memorable event. We hope you will begin making your plans to join us.
We would again like to present a significant Class Gift to the College. Our Class set records with our 40th and 45th Reunion Class Gifts. Let’s do it again by setting another record with our 50th Reunion Gift.
We have recently had two graduates offer a challenge to our class. They will give $85,000 cash if we match that dollar amount!!! So the Challenge is on!!
Given our past record, this is a realistic goal, especially if everyone participates. We firmly believe that with 100% participation from all of us we will meet our goal.
We want to help Assumption and its’ students now and into the future by continuing to fund the Bro. Armand Lemaire, A.A. Scholarship and the Fr. Paul Goudreau Scholarship, but ALL gifts to Assumption COUNT towards our class gift!
